OnePlus is preparing an ambitious model that will intensify competition in the affordable smartphone segment. The company is preparing to launch the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo, powered by the next-generation Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Recent leaks from China suggest that this phone will be particularly notable for its battery capacity.
The Ace 6 Turbo is coming
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, introduced by Qualcomm earlier this year and manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process, has been featured in many gaming-focused smartphones in India and globally. Now, information shared by Digital Chat Station confirms that a new OnePlus phone featuring this powerful chipset is on the way.

According to leaks, the Ace 6 Turbo will feature hardware-level chip optimizations. This means the phone could outperform other smartphones using the same processor. The device is said to feature a 6.78-inch, flat screen. The display’s refresh rate is likely to be 165Hz, but it could also feature a 144Hz panel.
The most striking detail in the report is its battery capacity. It was announced that the device will have a larger battery than the OnePlus 15R model in China. The leaker hints that the Ace 6 Turbo will come with a “9K” battery, meaning its capacity will be approximately 9000mAh.
With these features, OnePlus is preparing to compete with upcoming rival “Turbo”-branded phones. For example, Xiaomi’s mid-range phone, the Redmi Turbo 5, is also reportedly expected to feature a battery larger than 9000mAh, according to recent reports.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo is likely to launch globally as the Nord 6. The device is expected to be unveiled in China during the 2026 Spring Festival, in mid-February. More details about the device are expected to emerge soon.
