OnePlus has finally made Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 available. With the new update, OnePlus stated that it is the first company to offer Android 14 features under development by Google. So what does OnePlus OxygenOS 14 promise?
How to update OnePlus OxygenOS 14?
One of the most important Android 14 features coming to OxygenOS 14 is the Security Center to manage security settings in one place. The update also includes extra protection against unauthorized access, as well as advanced permission controls for things like camera and microphone access.
Apart from Android 14 features, OnePlus has also added its own customization and performance enhancements under ‘Trinity Engine’ with OxygenOS 14. Trinity Engine includes some optimizations such as CPU and ROM Vitalization to extend device performance. It also includes HyperTouch for faster response and HyperBoost mode for games.
On the user interface side, OxygenOS 14 brings new animations and calendar wallpapers. It also improves the Aquamorphic Design feature that includes nature sound effects. The update refreshes multi-device connections through apps like File Dock, Notes 2.0, Smart Cutout and Multi-Screen Connect 2.0.
File Dock is at the forefront of these integrations. This app acts as a sidebar for saving and accessing content across devices. The Notes app allows for more formatting and editing.
