BattleCore Arena, Ubisoft’s free online game that officially launched on February 5th, is facing a major setback. According to Steam data, the highest number of concurrent players since its launch was only 124 people. Even worse, only 1 person is currently active in the game! So why hasn’t the game caught on? How did Ubisoft, which has left giant traces in the gaming world, become like this? The details are in our news…
Ubisoft’s free online BattleCore Arena game has gone from launch to failure!
Although Ubisoft initially released the game from early access to full release, it failed to attract the expected attention. The vast majority of players gave negative feedback on the game’s tedious mechanics, unbalanced gameplay and lackluster content. On Steam, the game has an overall review score of 66% and is marked as “mixed”.

One of the game’s biggest problems is its extremely low player count. Designed as a multiplayer game, BattleCore Arena has become almost unplayable due to the lack of active players. So, will Ubisoft shut down the servers?
It’s not yet clear whether Ubisoft will shut down the servers, but if you ask us, it seems unlikely that the game will survive for long with such low player numbers. In short, BattleCore Arena could go down in history as one of Ubisoft’s most unsuccessful free-to-play games.
What do you think about this? Do you think Ubisoft should do something to save the game, or should they shut it down completely? You can share your opinions in the comments section below…
