Opel unveiled its next-generation performance vehicles to the world at IAA Mobility 2025. As one of the show’s leading brands, Opel unveiled the new Opel Mokka GSE with the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, its first concept model that combines the digital and real worlds. The Mokka GSE, a high-performance production model now available for order in Europe, brings the electric rally car feel to the road. Based on the Opel Mokka GSE Rally model showcased at this year’s IAA Mobility, the vehicle draws on Opel’s extensive motorsport expertise.
The vision of the GSE future: Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo!
Speaking at the IAA Mobility event, Opel CEO Florian Huettl said: “We have redesigned the Opel GSE to meet the needs of the electric era and are moving forward with all our might. We are increasing performance and taking the electric driving experience to the next level. Our latest and most groundbreaking concept car, emerging from Rüsselsheim, embodies the vision of our GSE brand. We are bringing our best-selling Corsa model to Gran Turismo 7, one of the world’s leading racing simulators. The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo not only offers a tangible experience, but can also be driven virtually.”

Thus, Opel presents another concept car study that will make history on the 60th anniversary of the legendary Experimental GT. It will inspire both motorsport enthusiasts and gamers. The vehicle, with its visionary design developed by the team led by Opel Head of Design Mark Adams, also stands out with its technical specifications. It demonstrates its high performance with 588 kW (800 hp) of system power, 800 nm torque, an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 2.0 seconds, and a top speed of 320 km/h. Mark Adams commented, “The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo exceeds our vision of the GSE’s future.” Furthermore, the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo stands out as the first Opel concept vehicle, which everyone will soon be able to experience in Gran Turismo 7.
Passion for racing and driving: Opel Mokka GSE Rally and Opel Mokka GSE!
Opel Marketing President Rebecca Reinermann emphasized that Opel’s GSE philosophy is built on three pillars: “Race, Drive, and Play.” ‘Play,’ brought to life with the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, is the perfect stage to showcase the next chapter of the GSE. It’s exciting, immersive, and accessible to everyone.”

The vehicles that will represent the first two pillars of the new GSE philosophy were clearly outlined at IAA Mobility: The Opel Mokka GSE Rally is being developed as a next-generation all-electric rally car for professional racing, while the production version, the Mokka GSE, will offer drivers an unparalleled driving experience on the road. Furthermore, the 207 kW (281 hp) Mokka GSE is now available for pre-order in Europe.
