Oppo A2 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC

One of the most significant specifications of the new smartphone is its chipset. The phone gets its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is a rebranded Dimensity 700. The chipset has dual 2.2GHz Cortex-A76, hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Additionally, the Oppo A2 has 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage options.

When we look at the display of the device, we can see that the A2 5G features a 6.72-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. While it has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support, it runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 out of the box.

In terms of camera, the Oppo A2 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture on the back, while it is equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.

The OPPO A2 comes in three color options, including Black, Green, and Violet. It costs 1699 yuan (about USD 232 or Rs. 19,340) for the version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. If you want more storage, there’s a 12GB RAM with 512GB model, which costs 1799 yuan (about USD 245 or Rs. 20,475). You can order the phone in China now, and it will be available for sale starting November 6th.
