A few days ago, Oppo announced that the company would launch a new A-series smartphone soon. Now, the brand has finally launched its latest device, the Oppo A38, with significant specifications in India. Oppo A38 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85

Although there are rumors about the Oppo A38‘s chipset, which might be MediaTek Helio G70, we can see that it is powered by Helio G85 chipset on the official website. According to the announcements, the chipset has 2x 2GHz Cortex-A75 and 6x 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPU cores with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. Additionally, it has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage, and it has 4GB of Extended RAM.

When we look at the display of the new smartphone, a 6.56-inch (1612 x 720 pixels) HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 720 nits peak brightness welcomes us. While the phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support, it runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 out of the box.

In terms of camera, Oppo A38 is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, and a 2-megapixel portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture on the back, while it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front. Also, the phone has a Glowing Silk Design with a luxurious silk-satin finish on the back.

The OPPO A38 is available in Glowing Black and Glowing Gold color options, retailing at Rs. 12,999 for the only 4GB + 128GB variant. It is currently available for purchase on Flipkart.
