As October approaches, the excitement for new flagship Android phones and processors is building. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 are set to power the latest high-end devices. OPPO will be among the companies opting for MediaTek, and the Find X8 has surfaced in benchmark tests. Here are the details:
OPPO Find X8 Specifications Revealed in Benchmark Tests
The OPPO Find X8 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400. This processor is expected to be announced next month and will be featured in various high-end devices. In Geekbench tests, the Find X8 achieved a single-core score of 2876 and a multi-core score of 8987. These scores are lower compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which scores 3216 in single-core and 10051 in multi-core tests on the OnePlus 13.
The device was tested with 16GB of RAM and is running Android 15. The vivo X200, which also uses the Dimensity 9400, had lower benchmark scores—1531 in single-core and 6168 in multi-core. Therefore, the Find X8 shows better performance in this comparison.
It is expected to use TSMC’s second-generation N3 process and feature an octa-core structure with 1x 3.4GHz Cortex-X5, 3x 3.3GHz Cortex-X4, and 4x 2.4GHz Cortex-A720 cores. The Dimensity 9400 is claimed to offer up to 40% better performance compared to its predecessor, the Dimensity 9300.
