Android phones are being introduced at a rapid pace as expected in 2024. With the leaks emerging today, details about the Oppo Find X8 series, which Oppo is expected to introduce and add to the Find series, have surfaced. According to recent reports, the Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra may be introduced earlier than expected. Here are the expected launch date and features of the Oppo Find X8 series…
Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra could be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2024
In January, Oppo introduced the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra models. Despite it only being May and the expectation for the new phone in the series to come out next year, claims suggest that the Find X8 series may be introduced in 2024. According to shares by a popular Android phone analyst, Oppo has set the fourth quarter of 2024 as the launch date.
Previous leaks suggested that the Find X8 model would come with MediaTek’s upper-segment Dimensity processor, as seen in the Find X7, and the Ultra model would feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. As known, Xiaomi always introduces the first phones using flagship processors from Snapdragon. So if the claims are true, this pattern might change.
According to rumors, Xiaomi still has the first right to use Snapdragon’s high-end processors, so this claim may not be entirely accurate. Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected to have a 2+6 architecture and the company’s own developed Oryon processor cores.
For the Find X8 Ultra, it’s expected to have an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The Find X8 will continue to use an optical fingerprint reader. If Oppo decides to introduce its phone on the specified dates, the new Find X8 series will be unveiled at the same time as the Xiaomi 15 and OnePlus 13 models.
