The Oppo Find X9 series is no longer a mystery. Ahead of its official launch on October 16, 2025, Oppo has released full images of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, confirming earlier rumors about the design and drawing strong comparisons to the recently leaked OnePlus 15.
Oppo Find X9 series mirrors OnePlus 15’s leaked design

In the newly shared renders, both Find X9 models feature a squircle-shaped camera island, a shift from the circular module on the Find X8 lineup. The standard Find X9 in particular looks nearly identical to the OnePlus 15 with one key difference: a Hasselblad logo stamped on the back.
That branding split makes sense. While Oppo continues its partnership with Hasselblad for camera tuning, OnePlus has already confirmed it’s moving on. The OnePlus 15 will instead use its in-house DetailMax Engine, leaving the iconic Hasselblad branding behind.
Dimensity 9500 powers Oppo’s latest flagships
Both the Find X9 and X9 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, marking the first time Oppo has used this platform in its premium series. While full specs are still under wraps, the Pro model is expected to offer the most advanced camera system, including a periscope telephoto lens shown in the teaser images.
Despite both phones appearing to have four rear sensors, the X9 Pro clearly brings upgraded hardware, making it the go-to option for photography enthusiasts.
Oppo Find X9 series doubles down on AI integration
In addition to the visual overhaul, Oppo is pushing deeper into AI-powered features. The company teased that the Find X9 lineup will include two physical AI buttons, likely used to activate voice control, generative functions, or system-level enhancements.
Key features of the Oppo Find X9 series:
- Powered by Dimensity 9500
- Rear design similar to OnePlus 15
- Hasselblad branding is exclusive to Oppo
- Four rear cameras on both models
- Periscope Zoom is exclusive to the Pro version
- Two AI-specific buttons teased
Global release expected after the China launch
While the Oppo Find X9 series launches in China first, a global rollout is confirmed to follow shortly after. With the design now public and specs slowly surfacing, the next Oppo flagship duo is shaping up to be a direct competitor to both the OnePlus 15 and upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25.
With AI integration, powerful silicon, and Hasselblad-backed optics, the Find X9 series may be Oppo’s strongest flagship release yet.
