Oppo, which introduced the Oppo Pad 3 and Pad 3 Pro last year and released the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Pad 4 Pro earlier this year, is now preparing the Oppo Pad 5 in a surprising move. Contrary to previous leaks, this new model appears to skip the Pad 4 name and instead use the Pad 5 name directly. Here are the details.
OPPO Pad 5 Specifications
The Oppo Pad 5’s specifications are slowly emerging. According to leaks, the tablet will use a 12.1-inch LCD panel with 3K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This display will deliver smooth and vibrant images for both content consumption and gaming. The device will also feature a single 8-megapixel camera on the rear.

On the performance front, the tablet will feature the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. This processor will easily handle everything from everyday tasks to the most demanding applications. The device, which will feature a large 10,300mAh battery for long-term use, can also be quickly charged with 67W fast charging support. Weighing approximately 579 grams, the Pad 5 will be available in purple, silver, and gray. Storage and RAM configurations range from 8GB/128GB to 16GB/512GB.
The Oppo Pad 5 is expected to be unveiled in October alongside the company’s highly anticipated Find X9 series. The OnePlus version, the Pad 2, will have the same specifications but will be available in different colors, including blue and gray.
