OPPO Reno 13A with a 120Hz AMOLED display has been announced!
Oppo introduced the Reno 11A model in June 2024. Today, the Chinese brand also unveiled the more affordable Oppo Reno 13A globally alongside the Reno 14 5G. Here are all the details about the new member of the Reno A series.
What does the OPPO Reno 13A offer?
The OPPO Reno 13A features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits, protected by AGC Dragontrail STAR2 glass. For security, there is an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear houses a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 112° field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also supports up to 16 GB of virtual RAM and microSD cards up to 1 TB. The 5800 mAh battery supports 45W fast charging.
Running ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, the Reno 13A includes dual SIM + eSIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB-C port, and dual speakers. The phone has IP68/69 certifications for dust and water resistance. Its thickness is 7.8 mm, and it weighs 192 grams.
This model is said to be a rebranded version of the Reno 13F, which has been available in other markets since January.
The OPPO Reno 13A is now available for pre-order in Japan with a price tag of 48,000 Yen (~330 USD). Sales will begin on June 26. The device comes in Charcoal Gray, Ice Blue, and Luminous Navy colors. The SIM-unlocked model will be sold through major electronics retailers, online stores, UQ Mobile, Rakuten Mobile, Y! Mobile, and various MVNO providers.
