Oppo, aiming to reach more users in the smartwatch market, has completed its work on its new model. The details of the Oppo Watch X model, which is said to have similar technical features to the OnePlus Watch 2, have been leaked.
Details of the Oppo Watch X have emerged
Operating under the same parent company, Oppo and OnePlus release smart devices with similar hardware under different model names. OnePlus announced that it will unveil its new smartwatch on February 26, followed by Oppo revealing the launch date of its new model.
Oppo will present its new model to users on February 29. According to leaked information, the company will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset in its smartwatch.
The Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor, manufactured with 4nm technology, features 4 Cortex-A53 cores running at 250MHz and 1 Cortex-M55 core. The processor, with a total of 5 cores, has a 1GHz A702 graphics interface. It is worth noting that the processor supports 2.133MHz LPDDR4 memory.
The smartwatch, which is said to have a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, will have a screen size of 1.43 inches. Oppo’s smartwatch will feature an OLED panel.
The device is quite ambitious in terms of battery life, featuring a 500mAh battery with 10W charging support. According to leaked information, the device is expected to offer up to 5 days of battery life in heavy usage and up to 15 days in power-saving mode.
The smartwatch will run on Google Wear OS 4 and will be available in Platinum Black and Mars Brown color options. There is no leak regarding the price yet, but it is expected to be the same as the OnePlus Watch 2, which is expected to be announced early next week.
