Following the recent success of the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models, the company has announced a significant update to its launch strategy. Oppo executive Zhou Yibao revealed that the Find series will now be introduced in two separate events each year. Starting from now, Oppo’s flagship models will be unveiled during the spring and autumn seasons.
Find X8 Ultra and Mini Are on the Way…
After the autumn release of the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini models are expected to be launched in the spring. Additionally, Zhou Yibao hinted that Oppo’s foldable phone, the Find N5, will take the stage before these models.
Interestingly, the Find N5 is rumored to be rebranded as OnePlus Open 2 for markets outside of China. With early leaks and technical details already emerging, this model seems poised to make a splash in the foldable phone market.
Meanwhile, prototypes of the Find X8 Ultra reportedly feature a telephoto macro camera, which is currently being tested for performance. However, it remains uncertain whether this feature will make it to the final production model, as there are speculations about Oppo potentially opting for an alternative design at the last moment.
This new launch strategy aims to make the Find series more dynamic, offering users more frequent and diverse options. With two flagship events annually, Oppo seems determined to keep the excitement alive for its fan base.
