WhatsApp support will end on several popular smartphones starting January 1, 2026. With the continuous development of applications and the addition of new features, older hardware can no longer meet modern security and performance needs. This will directly affect users running Android 5.0 and iOS 15.1 and below.
Critical Date for Models Ending WhatsApp Support
As it does every year, the popular messaging platform is updating its technological requirements and phasing out older devices.
