The Pixel 10 series might be next in line after Samsung’s big July launch, but it’s already making waves. A new leak has spilled full color and storage options for the lineup, and some combinations come with oddly strict limitations.
Pixel 10 series colors offer a variety, mostly
The standard Pixel 10 will reportedly arrive in four shades: Obsidian (black), Frost (likely white), Indigo (a bluish-purple), and Lemongrass (pale yellow). Buyers can pick between 128GB and 256GB of storage, giving the base model a fairly balanced launch setup.
Things get more complex with the higher-end models. The Pixel 10 Pro is listed in Obsidian, Porcelain (white), Moonstone, and Jade. Storage options go up to 1TB at least in certain colors. Obsidian is the only shade that spans the full range: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
Jade, strangely, is locked to 256GB only. That limitation extends to the Pixel 10 Pro XL, where both Jade and Moonstone don’t offer the 128GB variant. If you want the lowest storage, Obsidian is apparently your only path.

Pixel 10 Pro Fold also has storage shade quirks
The foldable version, Pixel 10 Pro Fold, will reportedly come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations. Moonstone covers all three sizes, but Jade is limited again, just 256GB and 512GB are listed for that color.
It’s not unusual for certain finishes to be tied to specific hardware options, but this many limitations stand out. Google seems especially selective about pairing Jade with anything larger or smaller than 256GB.
Pixel 10 series keeps 128GB starting point
Despite its “Pro” label, both the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will start at 128GB of storage. That’s in line with previous models, but feels a little underwhelming for premium devices in 2025. With most flagships now starting at 256GB, this may be a sticking point for some buyers.
