Google is working on a new feature that will improve Android users’ Play Store experience. This feature will allow users to uninstall apps more quickly and easily from different devices.
Play Store to Make App Removal Easier
Currently, uninstalling an app from another device requires a lengthy process. Users have to go to the Play Store, go to “Manage apps and devices,” select the relevant device, wait for the app list to load, and then click the uninstall button.

The new change will shorten this process. Google is adding a “Remove” button directly to the app page in the Play Store. This allows users to instantly delete the app by clicking the remove button next to the desired device from the device list on the app page.
This change will be particularly helpful for users who want to manage a single app from multiple devices. This new feature, in addition to the ability to remotely install apps across devices connected to the same Google account, is expected to further enhance the user experience.
The release date of this small but impactful change is not yet known. This new feature is part of an effort to more integrated data and app management across devices. Google continues to offer practical solutions like this to help users use multiple devices more efficiently.
