Sony has announced the highly anticipated free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers every month. Three high-quality games that will be available to players in September 2025 have been officially announced. A critically acclaimed platformer stands out in particular.

Star of the PlayStation Plus September List: Psychonauts 2

The most prominent game of September was undoubtedly Psychonauts 2, considered one of the best platformers. With its unique art design and entertaining gameplay, this game promises an unforgettable adventure and is highly recommended for your library.

Here is the full list of games that will be free for PS Plus (Essential, Extra, and Deluxe) subscribers in September:

In addition to the monthly free games, Sony also constantly updates the game library for subscribers in the Extra and Deluxe tiers. As a reminder, many popular games were added to the game catalog in August, including Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Unicorn Overlord, and Earth Defense Force 6.

PS Plus subscribers can permanently access these new free games by adding them to their accounts starting the first week of September.
