Following Xbox’s takeover, PlayStation has now rented the Las Vegas sphere, an 18,600-seat entertainment arena, for its own promotional campaign. The venue, which has a LED surface area of 580,000 square meters, offers first-class advertising space.
PlayStation and other renters pay 450.000 dollars for one day rental
As stated in the promotional brochure of the Vegas sphere, a one-day rental fee costs approximately 450,000 dollars.
PlayStation’s advertisement featured detailed images of Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales’ Spider-Man and Venom, and ended with the game’s cover art. It was also noteworthy that Microsoft previously featured an Xbox advertisement on the Las Vegas Globe and adorned the city’s skyline with its iconic global logo.
Spider-Man 2, which is exclusive to PlayStation 5 and released on Friday, continues where Insomniac Games left off with 2018’s Spider-Man and its 2020 spin-off Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This time around, both Peter Parker and Miles Morales take on central roles, allowing players to seamlessly switch between the two Spider-Men as they team up against formidable foes like Venom, the Lizard, and Kraven the Hunter.
The review embargo for Spider-Man 2 was lifted on Monday, and critics raved about the game, ranking it among Insomniac’s highest-rated games to date. It seems that this sphere will continue to be on the agenda for the advertisements it hosts in the coming times. What are you thinking?
