Xiaomi is getting ready to launch its next mid-range tablet, and leaks have already spilled the specs. The upcoming Poco Pad M1 looks like a solid step forward. It blends a large 120Hz screen, a powerful Snapdragon chip, and a massive battery in a familiar, practical design.
Poco Pad M1 specs highlight Snapdragon chip and large display

According to early info from Ytechb, the Poco Pad M1 runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. This chip includes four Cortex-A720 cores and four Cortex-A520 cores, promising a solid balance between speed and power efficiency. Xiaomi plans to pair it with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, at least in one variant.
The device also features a 12.1-inch IPS panel with 2560 x 1600 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. That makes it ideal for videos, web browsing, and casual gaming.
Design and features match mid-range tablet expectations
The design stays simple. The Poco Pad M1 uses a flat frame, a pill-style camera bump, and slim, even bezels. It will ship in blue and black, giving users a basic color choice. Even so, it checks most boxes for the price tier.
To round out the experience, Xiaomi adds quad speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. These are welcome features for users who watch a lot of media or still prefer wired headphones.
Poco Pad M1 battery life could be a standout feature
One of the most notable specs is the 12,000mAh battery. It supports 33W wired charging through a USB-C port. Despite this huge battery, the tablet stays fairly slim at 7.5mm and weighs 610 grams. That said, it’s definitely built more for endurance than portability.
For cameras, users get an 8MP rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a matching 8MP front camera. These are basic, but should work well for video calls or scanning documents.
Poco Pad M1 could be based on Redmi Pad 2 Pro
Leaks suggest this tablet shares its core with the Redmi Pad 2 Pro, currently priced around $370. If true, the Poco-branded version could be slightly more affordable especially if Xiaomi markets it more aggressively overseas.
Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the price or release date yet. However, based on the specs, the Poco Pad M1 may offer one of the best value tablets in its range especially for those who care more about battery life and display smoothness than ultra-thin design.
