Turn 10 Studios will make a comprehensive update to Forza Motorsport’s criticized AI system. The new version, which was developed in response to feedback from the Drivatar AI system in particular, will make the experience players have against AI in traffic more realistic and immersive.
Forza Motorsport will receive an AI update
Players have long complained about the unrealistic behavior of AI-controlled vehicles during races. Unnecessary braking, faulty overtaking, strange transitions, non-compliance with the ideal racing line, and sudden crashes were among the main points of criticism.

In the new system, AI is now trained not only on a specific racing line, but on multiple lanes. In this way, the system can adjust its position more dynamically during the race and respond more accurately to traffic conditions.
In the previous system, training on a single line for thousands of laps for each vehicle and track led to behaviors that could not adapt to heavy traffic. With the new update, AI will give more realistic reactions when overtaking or avoiding collisions.
The revamped Drivatar AI will not only be more attentive, but also faster and more competitive. It will be able to overtake without going off track, pass other AI opponents, and make the driving experience more enjoyable.
The AI update will be available to players with the anniversary update, which will be released at the end of May. What do you think about this? You can share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
