The most powerful car in Porsche’s history!
Price and features of Taycan Turbo GT! The model, which looks like a normal Porsche Taycan from the outside, actually hides a very different beast under the hood. Taycan Turbo GT offers you 2 different equipment options that you can purchase. The first is the base package, and the other is the Weissach package. As you might guess, Weissach can be described as the craziest version of the model.
Let’s start by describing the standard version. The Taycan Turbo GT first has a completely redesigned rear engine. But there’s one more small detail. Porsche engineers used silicon carbide (SiC), which is a completely new semiconductor material, in the car’s engine. Thanks to this material, which allows electrons to move faster due to its crystal structure.
So, what is the result we get with this new semiconductor? First of all, in the standard version of the car, we can get 780 hp. With Launch Control, we can get 1,033 hp, and with the newly added “overboost” function, the engine can produce 1,108 hp for 2 seconds.
Thanks to these high new engine powers, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds. When the Weissach package is involved, this acceleration is shortened to one-tenth of a second. Additionally, with the Weissach package, the car reaches 200 km/h from 0 in 6.4 seconds.
Porsche’s mouth-watering new beast, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, is currently on sale in Europe. The price of the car is around 250,000 euros. What do you think about the features of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT?
