Xiaomi is preparing to introduce its 15 series flagship smartphones in the coming days. Accordingly, critical information has emerged ahead of the launch.
What will the Xiaomi 15 series offer?
The technical specifications of the Xiaomi 15, leaked before its expected launch, show that the phone will be one of the first smartphones to be released with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to the leaks, the Xiaomi 15 series will have a 6.36-inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.2K resolution.
On the camera side, it is said that the Xiaomi 15 will come with a triple camera setup with a 50 Megapixel main sensor from Omnivision. There will also be a 50 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50 Megapixel telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom. A 32 Megapixel front camera will be used on the selfie side, and Leica will once again collaborate with Xiaomi for flagships.
The Snapdragon Summit, organised by Qualcomm, hosted many innovations, and one of them was the chipset for cars.
Other features include 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The 5500mAh battery is supported by 90W wired and 55W wireless fast charging. Additional features include an IP68 rating and Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out of the box.
It is estimated that the Xiaomi 15 will be introduced at the Xiaomi launch event expected to take place on October 23 and will be among the first phones to adopt Snapdragon’s next-generation platform. The starting price is expected to be around $650, which will intensify competition in the premium segment.
