Vivo is set to unveil its highly anticipated S20 series soon. Although numerous reports have emerged regarding the Chinese manufacturer’s new smartphones, this flow of information is gradually slowing down as the launch nears. Recent developments reveal that the Pro model of the series has achieved a significant milestone ahead of its release.
Vivo S20 Pro receives 3C certification
The Vivo S20 Pro, listed with model number V2430A, has appeared in the 3C database. While this certification primarily confirms that the smartphone will support 90W charging, it also suggests that the official launch may be imminent.
According to industry insider Digital Chat Station, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Built on a 4nm architecture, the processor features a 1x 3.4 GHz ARM Cortex-X4 core, 3x 2.85 GHz ARM Cortex-X4 cores, and 4x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, alongside an Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.
Additionally, the Vivo S20 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch display with 1.5K resolution, a 3x optical zoom periscope sensor, and a main 50MP camera.
Sources indicate that the Vivo S20 series will be introduced by the end of this month. However, no official announcements have been made regarding the specific features or release date of the smartphones.
