Twitter is moving to a new era in terms of reply ranking. CEO Elon Musk made the announcement directly. Twitter is facing major changes under the management of Elon Musk. Musk, who wants to monetize the platform seriously, is also taking some steps on bot accounts. As you know, bot accounts usually appear in the replies to tweets. This is a big problem for big accounts, which Musk promised but still cannot fully prevent.

However, the visibility of bots in replies will soon be significantly reduced. According to Musk, replies on the platform will be prioritized in the coming weeks. Soon, replies from accounts you follow will appear first under a Tweet, followed by approved accounts. At the bottom, there will be messages from accounts you don’t follow and those without approval. It looks good to prioritize those who are followed. In this way, it seems that a better sub-Tweet communication/interaction can be established.
Also, Musk recently made other statements for Twitter. “In the coming months, we will use artificial intelligence to detect public opinion manipulation on the platform”, Musk said, adding that “Twitter will open source all code used to suggest Tweets on March 31st.” Musk had promised this before.
Before that, an update was made to the Twitter app for iOS. In the version, when you go into the details of a Tweet, you can now see the number of quotes, retweets, likes and, most recently, the number of bookmarks. This publicly displayed number is a new way to see or measure how interacted with or noteworthy Tweets are.
Twitter’s bookmarking system has been around for a long time and the company explains itself as follows: “See a Tweet (or several) you love and want to keep in one place that you can revisit? Bookmarks lets you save Tweets in a timeline for easy, quick access at any time.” On Twitter, you can see the content you’ve bookmarked via a special menu within the service/app. No one else can access this data except you.
