RayNeo, a prominent TCL brand, continues its work in augmented reality. Having announced the RayNeo Air 3s Pro AR model, the augmented reality glasses it held at an event in China earlier this year, has finally been released globally. The new model offers improved brightness, comfort, and audio performance. Here are the details.
RayNeo Air 3s Pro: Technical Specifications and Usage
The RayNeo Air 3s Pro features a HueView 2.0, 5th-generation tandem Micro-OLED display with 1,200 nits of brightness, a 200,000:1 contrast ratio, and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The virtual screen projects an image equivalent to 201 inches from a distance of 6 meters. The glasses support six different modes to suit the viewing environment: Movie Mode, Game Mode, Image Enhancement, and Eye Care Mode.
The glasses are designed for long-term use. The TÜV SÜD-certified Air 3s Pro offers low blue light and flicker-free viewing. It utilizes 3,840 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 20-level brightness adjustment.
The glasses’ frame weighs 76 grams and features balanced weight distribution, adjustable temples, and three-level nose pads. The company stated that the design accommodates 93 percent of the interpupillary distance and supports prescription lenses.
The Air 3s Pro delivers a cinematic surround sound experience thanks to a quad-speaker system and RayNeo’s spatial audio algorithms. Whisper Mode directs sound only to the ear, preventing it from leaking in public spaces.
The glasses support multiple devices, including iOS and Android smartphones, computers, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, via the JoyDock accessory. RayNeo also offers a USB-C adapter for continuous use without draining the connected device’s battery.
The RayNeo Air 3s Pro is available globally for a special launch price of $249, despite its regular price of $299. The company is also offering bundle options with a Pocket TV or JoyDock accessory. Orders placed now will ship starting August 27th, with delivery expected between September 1st and 3rd in most regions. It’s not yet confirmed whether the product will be available in our country.
