Apple is expected to introduce the next generation iPhone models in September. In this context, it seems possible that four models will be unveiled. Finally, the first images of the alleged iPhone 16 appeared on social media. The photos revealed new color options and a new rear camera design.
iPhone 16 emerged with new color options
Images of the iPhone 16 confirm that it will be available in white, black, blue, green and pink. In this context, Apple seems to abandon the yellow color of last year’s iPhone 15. The rear cameras have also been rearranged vertically instead of diagonally.
The new camera setup will allow iPhone 16 to gain Spatial Video support, which is currently limited to iPhone 15 Pro models, despite hardware limitations. Spatial Video allows for 3D video on devices like Vision Pro.
Rumors have revealed that the iPhone 16 will be equipped with much better cameras. Accordingly, the main sensor will be 1/1.14-inch with a resolution of 48 Megapixels. This means it will feature an even larger sensor than the iPhone 15 Pro.
The ultra-wide camera is said to support 48 Megapixel resolution, compared to 12 Megapixel resolution on the iPhone 15.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models come with an A18 chip, 8GB of RAM, a new shooting button on the right side, and a new Action button. These new models will be announced in September, along with the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max and new Apple Watch hardware.
