Earlier this month, the realme GT 7 Pro was unveiled in China, achieving significant sales success in its home market. However, as the Chinese manufacturer prepares to launch the smartphone globally on November 26, promotional posters shared by the brand have raised questions among users.
The realme GT 7 Pro Will Launch Globally With a Smaller Battery
Realme announced that the global version of the GT 7 Pro would come with a 5,800mAh battery. Compared to the Chinese variant, which boasts a 6,500mAh battery, this marks a significant reduction in capacity. However, charging speeds will remain unchanged.
Reports suggest that the realme GT 7 Pro isn’t the only smartphone to launch globally with a reduced battery capacity. For instance, the iQOO 13, unveiled in China last month with a 6,150mAh battery, was released in global markets with a smaller 6,000mAh battery.
It’s still unclear whether there will be any other differences between the global and Chinese versions of the realme GT 7 Pro apart from the battery capacity. Based on available information, the global specifications are expected to include the following:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite
- Display: Eco2 OLED Plus (Samsung), 6.78 inches, 6,000 nits peak brightness, low power consumption
- Rear Cameras:
- 50MP main camera with OIS (Sony IMX906)
- 50MP telephoto camera (Sony IMX882)
- 8MP ultra-wide camera (Sony IMX355)
- Front Camera: 16MP
- Water and Dust Resistance: IP68/69 certified
- Software: Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0
- Battery: 5,800mAh with 120W SuperVOOC charging
