Realme is expected to soon launch a new smartphone in its Neo series. Dubbed the Realme Neo 8, this device is attracting attention, particularly due to its alleged arrival with a massive 8,000mAh battery capacity. This model is positioned as a significant upgrade from the brand’s current-generation Realme Neo 7, Neo 7x, Neo 7 SE, and Neo 7 Turbo series.
Realme Neo 8 to attract attention with its battery
After unveiling the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro in China last month, the brand is shifting its focus to the Realme Neo 8 series in the next few months. Leaked specifications of the device suggest it will feature a range of high-end hardware components.

The phone is reportedly expected to feature a metal mid-frame and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The biggest innovation is its 8,000mAh battery, a rarity in the industry.
Recent reports have also revealed the Realme Neo 8’s display specifications. The device is said to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution support and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. While sensor details are not yet known, the phone has been announced to feature a 50-megapixel main camera.
According to leaks, the Realme Neo 8 will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. This processor is expected to first appear in the OnePlus Ace 6T, which is expected to launch in China this month.
Realme’s Neo 7, launched last year, was an affordable option with a 7000mAh battery, 80W fast charging, a 120Hz 6.78-inch display, and a powerful Dimensity 9300+ processor. The Neo 8, however, appears to exceed its predecessor in battery and processor specifications, raising user expectations.
