Realme is preparing for the launch of its Realme 16 Pro series for the global market, while also believed to be working on the 16 series in China and the highly anticipated Neo 8 series. The latest leak from reliable source Digital Chat Station has revealed key specifications believed to belong to an upcoming Neo 8 model.
Realme Neo 8 Coming Soon
Remembering the previous Neo 7 series, which consisted of four different models (Neo 7 Turbo, Neo 7, Neo 7 SE, and Neo 7x) and came with different Dimensity and Snapdragon chipsets, it’s not yet certain whether the Neo 8 series will similarly have multiple models.

However, the new leak suggests the upcoming Realme phone will feature a large, flat Samsung AMOLED display supporting 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, it’s claimed to house the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
While the phone’s official name is not yet known, it is expected to be called Realme Neo 8 in the Chinese market. A previous leak suggested that this device could be equipped with other notable features such as an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and a massive 8,000 mAh battery.
The inclusion of this processor indicates that the upcoming Realme model is designed to directly compete with performance-oriented rivals such as the OnePlus Ace 6T, Moto X70 Ultra, and iQOO Z11 Turbo Pro, all of which also use the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which also uses the same chipset, is known to stand out from the others by being a more camera-focused phone.
