Realme has completed preparations for its new move, the Neo 8, which is set to change the balance in the smartphone market. According to the latest information from industry sources, the device, positioned as the successor to the Realme Neo 7, is expected to be officially launched in the Chinese market next month.
Realme Neo 8 is coming soon
It is stated that the device will enter global markets and India under the name Realme GT 8, with this launch taking place sometime in 2026. Particularly noteworthy for its ambitious hardware choices, the phone is said to be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. This powerful processor is accompanied by LPDDR5X RAM units and UFS 4.1 storage technology.

Raising the bar in technical details, the Realme Neo 8 features a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution. This flat screen, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, promises fluidity in gaming and multimedia experiences.
One of the device’s most striking features is its battery capacity. According to leaked data, the phone boasts a massive 8,000mAh battery. To optimize charging time, it offers 80W wired fast charging support.
Following current standards in security and connectivity technologies, the device features an under-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader. It also includes modern connectivity options such as an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Realme Neo 8, which boasts IP68 dust and water resistance, features a 50-megapixel main camera sensor on the back. Following the GT 8 Pro model, which the company launched in India last month with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the Neo 8 further expands its performance-oriented product range.
