As we enter the autumn months, competition in the Android market has begun to intensify. Following Redmi’s launch of the Redmi 14R 5G last year, the company appears poised to implement the same strategy for its new model, the Redmi 15R 5G. Recent developments suggest that all the key features of this upcoming model have been revealed. Here are the details.
Redmi 15R 5G Features and Design
The Redmi 15R 5G is reportedly expected to feature a 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. The device’s size and weight suggest a substantial and robust build. Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, the phone is expected to be available with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The battery will feature a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Software-wise, the device is said to run Android 15 running HyperOS 2.0. The camera capabilities are quite basic. The rear houses a 13-megapixel main camera and LED flash, while the front has a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The device will reportedly also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. According to the Chinese telecommunications company’s listing, the Redmi 15R 5G, which will be available starting September 11th, will be available in Titanium Purple, Star Rock Black, Lime Green, and Cloud White.
