Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi is set to unveil its latest flagship, the Redmi K100 Pro, on August 11, marking the debut of the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V chipset. Developed by Qualcomm to address rising component costs in the smartphone sector, this processor offers a more cost-effective alternative for high-end mobile devices. The upcoming launch in China signals a strategic shift for manufacturers aiming to balance premium performance with price accessibility.
