Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has announced some of the technical specifications of the Redmi K60 Ultra. The high-end device, which will be released later this month, will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
Redmi gives new details for the K60 Ultra
The Dimensity 9200+ chipset is an upgraded version of MediaTek’s current flagship Dimensity 9200 processor. Redmi claims that the K60 Ultra scored 1,774,714 points in AnTuTu benchmarks, beating Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered devices.
Redmi also said it has partnered with PixelWorks, a leader in pixel processing, and will use the X7 display chip in its device. This will allow the smartphone to achieve refresh rates of up to 180Hz at FHD+ resolution and 144Hz at WQHD+ resolution.
Some other key highlights for the K60 Ultra include a performance mode. The Chinese manufacturer will bundle Furious Engine 2.0 with the phone to maximize the potential of the Dimensity 9200+.

Although important details about the device have been shared, the launch date is not yet known. However, it is expected to be unveiled with the foldable Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Pad 6 Max and Redmi Pad 2 tablet at the launch in September.
