The Redmi Note 15 5G has officially joined Xiaomi’s global lineup, offering a clean balance of performance and affordability. This year’s Note 15 family consists of five phones in total, and the base models are getting just as much attention as the Pro-tier siblings.
Redmi Note 15 5G arrives with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3

The highlight of the Redmi Note 15 5G is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, bringing 5G connectivity and solid mid-range power. It’s paired with a 5,520 mAh battery slightly smaller than the 6,000 mAh cell inside the 4G version.
That said, it makes up the difference with faster 45W charging, compared to 33W on the 4G model. Xiaomi is clearly giving users a tradeoff: more efficiency and faster charging, or more raw battery life.
Features a high-end display for its class
Both the 4G and 5G versions of the Note 15 feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display. It supports FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and hits a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. That’s an impressive spec sheet for a mid-range phone, and it’s shared across both variants.
Design-wise, they’re virtually identical. Curved edges, slim bezels, and vibrant color options give the phones a more premium look than their price tags suggest.
Redmi Note 15 5G gets camera upgrade over 4G model
It also gets a slight edge in camera hardware. Both models include a 108 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, but the 5G version adds an 8 MP ultrawide lens. In contrast, the 4G version settles for a 2 MP depth sensor.
On the front, both phones come with a 20 MP selfie camera, designed for sharp portraits and 1080p video chats.
Pricing and variants
Xiaomi is keeping things aggressive on pricing. The phones will be available for pre-order starting January 5. Here’s the breakdown:
- Redmi Note 15 5G (6GB + 128GB): £199 / €299
- Redmi Note 15 4G (6GB + 128GB): £179 / €229
The Redmi Note 15 5G comes in glacier blue, mist purple, and black. The 4G model adds a forest green option to the same palette.
Xiaomi dials up value again
With its AMOLED screen, Snapdragon chip, and 108 MP camera, the Redmi Note 15 5G brings plenty of flagship flavor to a mid-range segment. For under £200, it’s shaping up to be a solid contender for budget-conscious buyers who don’t want to compromise on core features.
