Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi and a leading player in the market, is finalizing development on its new smartphone series, the Redmi Note 15 Pro. Specifications for the Redmi Note 15 Pro and 15 Pro+, which will be unveiled at a launch event in China on August 21st, have been confirmed. Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Camera Details
Redmi has officially confirmed that its new smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, will be launched with the brand-new Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 chipset. The company had previously revealed the processor, as well as the phone’s display, battery capacity, and charging speed. Now, it has shared camera specifications and official camera samples to highlight the device’s flagship-level imaging capabilities.

According to the announcement, the Note 15 Pro+ will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with an OmniVision Light Fusion 800 (OV50E) sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Last year’s Note 14 Pro+ featured a 200-megapixel camera. The new device will also feature an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2.5x telephoto camera.
Redmi previously confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a 6.83-inch four-sided curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Other specifications include a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W charging and 18W reverse charging.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will run Android 15 based on HyperOS 2.0 and is expected to offer up to 512GB of storage. It will also feature flagship-level 1115 symmetrical dual speakers and a durable chassis rated IP68/69. The top-tier variant is also reportedly likely to come with satellite connectivity support.
