Xiaomi has introduced the second generation of the series, the Redmi Pad 2, to users three years after the first Redmi Pad model launched in 2022. The new model includes important updates, especially on the screen, battery and software side.

The Redmi Pad 2 comes with an 11-inch IPS LCD screen. This screen offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a brightness of 600 nits. While the screen size has increased compared to the first generation, the resolution and refresh rate have also been improved.

The processor of the device is MediaTek’s Helio G100 chipset. This chip is a revised version of the Helio G99 used in the previous model. This update, which does not offer a serious leap in performance, focuses more on stability and software compatibility.
The Redmi Pad 2 is offered for sale with both Wi-Fi and 4G connection options. On the memory side, there are 4 and 8 GB RAM options, while the internal storage area is determined as 128 and 256 GB. The memory can be increased up to 2 TB with microSD card support.
The camera system includes a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera. The battery capacity has been increased by 1000 mAh compared to the previous model to 9000 mAh. The tablet, which offers 18 W fast charging support, comes with four speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
