16GB RAM and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3: Redmi Turbo 3 spotted on Geekbench
With the statements made by Redmi’s General Manager Wang Teng Thomas, we can understand the brand’s aim to deliver top-notch performance in the mid-range market with the upcoming phone. Looking at the specifications revealed in the Geekbench listings, the Redmi Turbo 3, identified by the model number 24069RA21C, comes with 16GB of RAM and is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
The Redmi Turbo 3, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, which consists of 1x 3.0 GHz Cortex-X4 core, four Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, and 3x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A520 cores, achieved a score of 2023 points in the Geekbench 6 single-core test. In the multi-core test, it reached a score of 5659 points, surpassing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
According to statements made by Thomas, in AnTuTu 10 tests, the phone can score over 1.7 million points. This score is higher than the Redmi K70 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which scored 1.71 million points. The similarity in scores is attributed to the Redmi Turbo 3 having a more powerful processor while having similar hardware in terms of the graphics unit.
The Redmi Turbo 3, expected to be unveiled in the Chinese market in mid-April, could be introduced globally as the POCO F6 in the second quarter of 2024.
