Redmi confirmed that it will officially announce the K80 series on 27 November in China. The highly anticipated series will consist of two models, the performance-oriented Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro.
In addition, the brand is preparing to appear very soon with another device, Redmi Turbo 4. After some details were leaked showing that the device will be released in December , the expected model was also approved by the Chinese authority 3C. The technical specifications of the phone have emerged.
What is expected from Redmi Turbo 4?
According to 3C certification, the Redmi Turbo 4 model will have 90W fast charging feature. Apparently, the device will become official in December, shortly after the announcement of the Redmi K80 series.
While the Redmi K80 series is expected to come with 2K resolution, the Redmi Turbo 4 model will have a 1.5K display. According to rumours, a second device called Redmi Turbo 4 Pro may also be released. But it is suggested that this will be announced a few months later.
According to Digital Chat Station, Redmi Turbo 4 is rumoured to come with MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will allegedly feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
While Qualcomm renamed Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 as Snapdragon 8 Elite, it seems possible that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro chipset will be Snapdragon 8s Elite. Both are expected to have a battery capacity of around 6,000 mAh and Android 15 operating system under HyperOS 2.0 interface.
Redmi Turbo 3 model came to the global market as POCO F6. It is suggested that Redmi Turbo 4 will be announced globally under the name POCO F7.
