Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, has started to reveal official details about its highly anticipated performance beast, and the initial Redmi Turbo 5 Max specs are set to redefine the market. While an official release date remains under wraps, newly shared images confirm the device’s design and its jaw-dropping battery capacity, positioning it as a true powerhouse.
Official Redmi Turbo 5 Max Specs Confirmed
The new promotional materials give a clear look at the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The device will feature a large, curved OLED panel with impressively thin bezels on all four sides. On the back, a vertical dual-camera setup is visible, which looks like a more refined version of its predecessor’s design. Although Redmi is not making radical changes to its design language, it’s clear the phone will offer a more premium feel compared to previous models.

A New Era of Battery Life: 9,000mAh and 100W Charging
The most striking feature of the phone is undoubtedly its battery. The Redmi Turbo 5 Max will ship with a colossal 9,000 mAh battery. While the brand has not officially announced the charging speed, previous 3C certification leaks indicated that the device will support 100W wired fast charging. However, due to this massive capacity, wireless charging support is not expected to be included.
Furthermore, under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek’s brand-new Dimensity 9500s chipset. The phone has already proven its performance claims by achieving an incredible score of 3.29 million in AnTuTu benchmarks. According to Geekbench data, the phone will also feature 16 GB of RAM and will come with Android 16 out of the box. It is also expected that this powerhouse will be launched in the global market as the Poco X8 Pro Max within the current quarter.
