Huawei’s Mate XT model with three screens released in the past weeks has attracted great attention worldwide in a short time. Now Xiaomi has rolled up its sleeves for a similar device. The Chinese company is preparing to come up with a new model that will rival the Mate XT.
According to the emerging information, the company will launch the first three-screen foldable phone model by 2026. The highly anticipated device will have two hinges that allow the panel to be divided into three parts. This surprise model was revealed for the first time with its impressive design. Here are the details…
Xiaomi’s three-screen phone is on its way!
Smartprix has uncovered the mysterious Xiaomi device seen in its IMEI database with the model number ‘26013VP46C’. Although details about the device have not been disclosed for now, the initials ‘2601’ indicate that its launch will likely take place in January 2026, possibly exclusive to China.
Xiaomi’s first three-screen foldable smartphone is estimated to be codenamed ‘zhuque’. The highly anticipated phone will come as the first direct competitor to the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, an impressive dual-fold phone with a 10.2-inch display.
The latest patent documents published by the Chinese intellectual property office show that Xiaomi’s first bi-fold phone may have three rear cameras that will be arranged horizontally. Thanks to its bi-fold design, the device can be used in different ways.
In the most compact format, with both hinges closed, it will function like a traditional smartphone, although thicker. When one of the hinges is open, it will have a tablet format. Finally, being fully open, it will be possible to connect a mouse and physical keyboard to use it as a compact laptop.
