Double Eleven has kicked out a new update for the survival video game Rust named 1.88. The latest version does the same as the previous ones and increases the gameplay experience with bug fixes and improvements. Check out the Rust 1.92 update patch notes down below.
Rust 1.92 Update Patch Notes
GAMEPLAY
- Players are no longer able to spawn on their dead bodies.
- Players will now correctly spawn on their beds/sleeping bags if selected.
- Players will no longer be randomly kicked during gameplay.
- Players can no longer attach multiples of the same attachments to the same weapon.
- Players are no longer randomly killed when exploring underground areas of Airfield and Launchsite.

ADDED
- The Easter Event will be enabled on official servers from March 28 to April 18, including the features first introduced last year. The Easter egg hunt will begin every 24-38 in-game hours. Players can collect eggs that can be upgraded from bronze to silver, and ultimately gold. These eggs can be cracked open for loot ranging from scrap to high-tier weapons. The Egg Basket will help you hunt for eggs. The Bunny Onesie and Bunny Ears are costume items only available during the event.
COMMUNITY SERVER CHANGES
- Added a new administration tool to view entity details and delete entities. This will make moderation easier for server owners and can be accessed from the control panel. More information on the Community Servers Wiki.
- Added favourite and history functionalities in Command and Item Lists.
- Added new loading screens. They now also contain information about the server being joined.
- Added customizable welcome screen. Admins can now add descriptive text to a screen shown to players upon joining. To do it, visit the GPORTAL website, and under the basic settings page, Toggle [Welcome Screen] ON followed by your welcome message.
GAMEPLAY – Rust 1.91 Update Patch Notes
- Ending Spectate now doesn’t respawn the user inside objects.
- Spectating a wounded player in first person no longer displays interaction prompts.
- Entering Spectate mode no longer culls the health bar when wounded.
- Fixed a bug that allowed players to shoot through the Strengthened Glass Window.
- Fixed a bug preventing players from accepting missions from Fisherman at the Fishing Village on certain map seeds.
- Fixed a significant FPS drop that could be caused by Supply Signal smoke.
- Weapon attachments now automatically swap out when used on a gun that already has an attachment of the same type.
- Players no longer fall through terrain while in a wounded state.
- Fixed a bug that caused swimming to pull players downwards by default.
- Multiple Trap types are no longer triggered when in Vanish Mode.
- The player can now see the item the player is holding when in third-person spectating mode.
- The wounded player now has a head when spectating in first person.
- Night Vision no longer persists after leaving spectate.
- Item deploy animation now occurs when spectating players in first person.
- The spectator can no longer select the vanished player as a spectating target.
- Switching weapons no longer shows the weapon for one second before equipping animation in Spectate Mode.
- Giving items to players from the history tab now initiates the command.
MONUMENTS
- Wounded players no longer get stuck under the hopper model at Mining Quarry after being revived.
- Wounded players can no longer go under the staircase at the silo tower.
- Players are no longer able to go through windows in Launch Site negating the use of Red Cards.
ITEMS
- Broken attachments are no longer able to be equipped with weapons.
- Flash Bangs now have the correct flash effect.
UI
- The wounded timer no longer exceeds the default value through repeated revival attempts.
- Wounded recovery and survival bars are now synced when spectating.
- The control panel no longer persists into the Respawn Screen when the player invokes the panel before death.
- Fixed disappearing icons after items are placed into certain containers.
- Fixed a bug that would open the Combat Log when attempting to use the Voice Activity menu.
- The Adjust Attachments menu no longer has an illogical flow.
- Renaming CCTV cameras no longer causes misleading popup messages.
- CCTV Power in mode HUD text can now be seen.
- Item names are no longer cut off when giving items.
VISUAL
- Flash Bang VFX no longer affects people inside the base when thrown outside.
- The inside of the Improvised Balaclava is no longer transparent.
- The laser sight dot no longer disappears when facing down.
AUDIO
- Light Switches now have the correct SFX.
- Player footstep sounds no longer persist when they stop moving or stand still.
OTHER CHANGES
- Fixed a crash that could occur when attempting to join servers on consoles.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when running a command after closing the command list.
