Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 attracts attention
Lenovo has finally put the prototype laptop it introduced in 2022 into production. This model, called ThinkBook Plus Gen 6, can expand its 14-inch standard screen up to 16.7 inches thanks to a foldable structure. This allows users to experience a wider screen experience, while making it possible not to compromise on the portability of the device.
On the hardware side, it was announced that the device will come with a Core Ultra 7 processor, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD. It is also stated that the device will weigh 1.69 kg and have dimensions of 303 x 230 x 19.9 mm. With these features, ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 offers portability and performance together. While the price of the device was announced to be $ 3,499, June 2025 was pointed as the release date.
Samsung, which cooperates with Lenovo in this project, is responsible for the production of the foldable screen used in the device. The company announced that it will start mass production of these screens in April 2025. According to Samsung’s statements, these screens offer more visual space by switching from 5:4 aspect ratio to 8:9 ratio. It was also stated that the experience gained from foldable screens in terms of durability was applied in this new technology.
