Samsung brings a flagship feature to the middle segment!

Samsung is reportedly preparing to bring a flagship feature to its mid-range smartphones, starting with the Galaxy A56 model expected to launch next year. According to reliable industry sources, the Galaxy A56 will feature 45W fast charging, a feature previously reserved for flagship devices like the Galaxy S24 series.

The inclusion of 45W charging in the Galaxy A56 marks a significant upgrade for the A-series, as this feature has generally been limited to Samsung’s premium models or select mid-range devices in markets like China and India (e.g., Galaxy F and Galaxy M series). However, this is the first time the A-series will adopt it as a standard.

45W charging support will be available in the Samsung Galaxy A56 model

For comparison, the Galaxy A55, introduced earlier this year in March, supports only 25W charging. This shift indicates a broader trend toward improved charging speeds in Samsung’s mid-range lineup.

The Galaxy A56 is expected to feature the Exynos 1580 chipset, an octa-core CPU with the following specifications:

    • 1 Cortex-A720 core clocked at 2.9 GHz
    • 3 Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz
    • 4 Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 1.95 GHz

Additionally, the phone will come equipped with:

    • A 50 MP main camera
    • A 12 MP ultra-wide camera
    • A 5 MP macro camera
    • A 12 MP front-facing camera

Samsung appears to be making efforts to enhance its mid-range devices to compete more effectively in the global market. With features like 45W fast charging and robust camera setups, the Galaxy A56 could set a new standard for affordable premium smartphones.
