By ensuring that the Galaxy S, Z, Tab, and A series receive the latest software enhancements, Samsung aims to unify its user experience across its diverse hardware portfolio, marking a major milestone in its 2025 mobile strategy.

The rugged Galaxy XCover 7 Pro is also confirmed to be part of the software expansion.

As the rollout phase concludes, Samsung is actively pivoting its engineering resources toward the next generation of its mobile operating system, known as One UI 9. Built upon the foundation of Android 17, this forthcoming version is currently undergoing rigorous beta testing specifically tailored for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. Industry expectations suggest that a stable, public release of this platform is slated for July 2026.
The current update infrastructure encompasses a broad ecosystem, including upcoming hardware like the Galaxy Z TriFold and the anticipated Z Flip 7 series. By standardizing these software versions across the A, M, and F series, the manufacturer seeks to maintain consistency in security and performance features for its entire user base.
