Galaxy A54 5G is powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset
While we already knew that the new device would feature the 5nm Exynos 1380 chipset, it officially launched now. The 5nm chipset comes with four high-performance Cortex-A78 CPU cores, which are two more than its predecessor. Samsung also announced that the Exynos 1380 features a 20% faster GPU. Additionally, the new Galaxy A54 5G comes with 6GB / 8GB of RAM, and 128GB / 256GB of storage options, alongside a microSD card slot.
On the display, the phone offers a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. While the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, it offers a great experience to users thanks to IP67 certification for dust and water resistance.
When we look at camera specifications, the Galaxy A54 5G features three rear-facing cameras on the back, including a 50-megapixel main camera with bigger pixels and improved OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. On the front, the device has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with 4K video support.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 comes with Dolby Atmos, Voice Focus, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Besides, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The phone is now available in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. According to the announcement, the A54 5G will be available by the end of March 2023. It costs €490 for the 6/128GB model and €540 for the 8/256GB version.
