The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. It comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The phone, powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, offers 25W fast charging support.
On the camera side, Samsung has switched to a new design. While the previous model had three separate camera rings, these sensors are placed in a combined camera island in the Galaxy M16 5G. The device, which comes with a 50 Megapixel main camera, a 5 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 Megapixel macro camera, seems ambitious in its segment in terms of photography.
Devices that will receive updates for One UI 7, developed by Samsung and expected to be released soon, have been announced.
On the software side, the device comes out of the box with Android 15-based One UI 7. Samsung announced that it will provide Android updates and security patches to this model for 6 years. Color options include Blush Pink, Mint Green and Thunder Black. The phone’s starting price is 11,499 Indian rupees ($132).
