A few days ago, Samsung launched its new foldable flagship phone series, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, at the Unpacked event. Now, Samsung’s upcoming M-series phone, Galaxy M44 5G, spotted on Geekbench with its expected specs, including chipset, RAM, and more. Here are the details about the Samsung Galaxy M44 5G…
Samsung Galaxy M44 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC
Although Samsung doesn’t give any details about the device officially, the reports show that the M44 5G specs spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-M446K. On the listing, we can see that the Galaxy M44 5G will be powered by a processor codenamed “lahaina”, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
The chipset has a max clock speed of 2.84GHz, and it has the Adreno 660 GPU. While the Galaxy M44 5G might be the newest M-Series, we don’t know why Samsung preferred this 3 years old chipset on its upcoming device. The chipset was one of the best processors in late 2020 and early 2021, but it is not powerful anymore compared to new chipsets.
On the Geekbench listing, the M44 5G has a single-core score of 1531 and a multi-score of 3771. Additionally, it is revealed that the phone will have a 6GB of RAM and it will run Android 13 out of the box.
To compare the Galaxy M44 5G to other M-series phones, we can say that the upcoming phone is expected to be a successor to the Galaxy M34 5G with improved specs. Also, this phone will probably launch in India as other M and F series devices.
