Samsung launched its latest flagship phone series, Galaxy S23, at the Unpacked event on February 1. The new series comes with high-end specifications and the latest technologies, including the overclocked chipset. It seems that the new phone series, especially the Ultra model, will be one of the most popular smartphones in the market. Well, is Galaxy S23 Ultra as good as to compete with iPhone 14 Pro Max? Here are the details and comparison of Galaxy S23 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro Max…
May Galaxy S23 Ultra be better than iPhone 14 Pro Max?
Let’s start with their specifications… We can see that Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with the overclocked version of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The device also has 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options. One of the most distinctive features is that S23 Ultra has support for S-Pen. It means that you can write, draw, and do more via S-Pen on Galaxy S23 Ultra.
On the other side, iPhone 14 Pro Max is powered by Apple’s latest chipset, A16 Bionic 4nm. The phone comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of storage options. The 14 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch 120Hz ProMotion display, while the S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz display. In terms of battery, Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 5,000mAh with 45W Super Fast charging, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 4,323mAh battery with 27W wired charging.
We can see the key difference in camera systems. Galaxy S23 Ultra is equipped with Samsung’s latest ISOCELL 200-megapixel sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, 10-megapixel periscope telephoto, and 10-megapixel telephoto sensor. Additionally, the iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with 48-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and 12-Megapixel telephoto sensors. We can also see the new and latest camera technologies on the 14 Pro side.
The most distinctive feature between these devices is their operating systems. While iPhone devices stand out with the extremely secure and stable operating system iOS, Galaxy S23 Ultra runs Android 13 out of the box. Lastly, we don’t see a great difference between their prices. The starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is $100 cheaper than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The reason for this difference is that the 14 Pro Max is a 128 GB model. Here are the specs…
