Ana sayfa / Android

Samsung has started rolling out the long-awaited first software update for the Galaxy S24 series. The update is currently only available in South Korea, but is expected to be available globally by February 22.

The 554MB Galaxy S24 series update includes several fixes and improvements that users have requested since the phones’ launch. The update also brings the February security patch to the phones.

The update brings a new brightness setting that allows users to adjust the vibrancy of the display to their liking. Samsung opted for paler colors for the default Live color profile this time around, but the new setting allows you to correct that washed-out look by boosting the colors. You can find it in Settings > Display > Advanced settings when you get the update.

Samsung also notes that the Galaxy S24 update brings several camera improvements. While some of these apply to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, there is improved image quality across the entire series.

– Improved image quality by adjusting brightness when shooting in backlight in high pixel mode.

– Improved text clarity when using zoom (S24 Ultra only)

– Improved clarity and picture quality when recording video with the rear camera (S24 Ultra only)

– In the indoor photo mode preview, the brightness of dark areas has been increased and the sharpness of people has been improved smoothly. (S24 Ultra only)

– Improved color data in the camera’s food mode.

– Improved colors by adjusting saturation and white balance in night mode.

– Improved image quality when zooming in the gallery after taking a photo in DNG, a new format in the RAW application.

– Improved the appearance of fast-moving objects in backlight conditions in rear photo mode. (S24 Ultra only)

– Improved exposure and color expression of objects (people, flowers, etc.) in Photo mode (S24 Ultra only)

– In Display Settings, the “Clarity” option has been added to Display Mode, bringing more vibrant colors.

Decline in the number of users switching from Android to iPhone

It turns out that there has been a significant decline in the percentage of users switching from Android to iPhone globally.

If you have a device from the Samsung Galaxy S24 family, do not miss this update on February 22. What do you think? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
