Samsung Galaxy S24 series might launch on January 18
Since the company introduces the S series smartphones in Q1 of every year, it is expected to be the same for the next-generation devices. However, there was nothing about the exact launch date, today the leaker revealed the possible launch date of the upcoming phone series. Reliable tipster Ice Universe revealed on Weibo that Samsung might launch the Galaxy S24 series on January 18.
The leaker says that this launch date might not be a certain date, but Samsung will probably launch the upcoming devices around that time frame. Earlier, Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 series in January in 2021, then the company announced the new series in February.
Now, let’s take a look at the leaked specifications of the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung is expected to introduce the upcoming phones with Exynos 2400 processors in Asia, Africa, and Europe. On the other hand, the phones will likely be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in Canada, China, and the US.
In terms of cameras, both the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are expected to feature a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to sport an impressive 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and another 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
